I just wanted to drop you a line and bring your attention to a very special online art class next Friday 20 November at 7pm on Zoom. The class itself will focus on watercolour and will be figurative painting in the contemporary style of the lead artist for the night Graham Dean. During this unique session Brighton based Graham Dean will create a small watercolour figure from a photograph. Participants will be given access to the image in advance of the class, then be invited to paint live along with Graham on the night. Afterwards he will show participants how he collages and assembles his work using torn parts of other painted images.

This will be a magical and rare insight into his practice as the class witnesses the work take shape. He will then invite everyone to show their work and to ask questions. This session will be relaxed and informal.

I've also attached a full press release for further details. Please do be aware that some drawing will be required before the evening itself in order to really focus on the watercolour aspect during the class. There are also some recommended materials!
